[DPRG] Servo Torque

What sort of torque does a servo produce when it is physically prevented from
moving to where it is told?  Assuming, of course, that the servo itslf doesn't
fail.  I can think of three scenarios that seem likely:

  1) It provides its maximum torque no matter how close or far it is from the
desired position.
  2) The torque is proportional to the difference between where the servo is
and where it should be.
  3) The torque increases over time as the servo tries to overcome the stop
until the servo reaches its maximum torque.
