A robots.net member, Dan Piponi, posted a link to a two-wheeled
balancing robot he built. His robot, called Equibot, uses only two
sensors - a sharp IR range sensor pointed at the floor and encoders on
hacked servo drive motors. He uses an ATMega32 and a PID program written
in C. There's a short MPEG video of the robot on his website.


Thought some of you balancing robot builders might find it
