Robots.net launched a TGIMBOEJ yesterday aimed at robot builders. The
first stop is Cedar Falls, Iowa. Here's the story on the launch:

If anyone wants to get on list as a recipient, add your name to the
TGIMBOEJ wiki request page and make sure to add a note by your name
saying you're interested in receiving "robots.net-box1".

If you have no idea what a TGIMBOEJ is, it stands for The Great Internet
Migratory Box Of Electronics Junk. A TGIMBOEJ is basically a progressive
lending library of electronic parts. The box arrives at your address,
you take some parts out that you want, thrown in some parts from your
own junk box that someone else might find useful, then you take photos
and write about the event online before shipping the box off to another
recipient. Ideally, the TGIMBOEJ arrives at a new address every two
weeks. There are a dozen or so TGIMBOEJs floating around the world
already but ours is the first one aimed primarily at robot builders.
