Ron,

 

The laser is RF energized instead of light, which I think is fast enough
for the modulation.

Hey Rick,

 

Nice idea. Only, I want the convenience of making PCBs at home.

My laser built on XY table is too slow to raster scan compared to your
Versalaser (ouch pang of Jealousy).

 

Maybe would not be too far out of the question for me to make a fast
axis for it using mirror/lens on coarse ball screw OR doing galvo mirror
scan.

 

Do you know if your Versalaser uses any post laser tube beam modulation
controls?

That is, to turn beam on/off, is anything beyond tube current modulation
being done?
