We've been resuscitating our moonbot field from last fall and are now
confident we'll have it up and running for moon day. It is 4' x 8' and is
designed to allow viewing on 3 sides. Please let me know we have the space
needed for it, or the kids will be disappointed. You can see what it looks
like in this short video:

We likely won't be participating in Moon Day through Scouting this year, so
I think we would very much like to bring our robots/fields as part of DPRG.
However, I need to check to see which of our team members can make it. (I
already know at least two are out of town that day.)

Regardless, I'm putting Moon Day on my calendar and I plan to bring our FLL
fields, moonscape, and some of my robots that day. Visitors can at least
remote-navigate the moonscape (with live video feed!) and we'll have some
other interactive robots like last time.
And I can bring the Rubiks cube solver.

Also, since I didn't get to attend Roborama in May, I'd love an opportunity
to try RoboSumo or some of the other roborama-type events that I missed, if
that would be possible/appropriate for the day. I'll even bring the 30"
robosumo ring I made. :)

I doubt I'll have any of the LEGO EV3s or the BrickPi by then, but if I do
I'll definitely bring those along as well.
