I can't tell either. I guess I will be prepared with a tape-measure OR a robot that measures the course -- which might be the most fool proof method. -----Original Message----- From: Karim Virani To: Ron Grant ; dprglist Sent: Tue, Apr 15, 2014 11:50 am Subject: RE: [DPRG] Tabletop Contest Course Question There is a discrepancy between the rules diagram and the way the table was setup at the last Roborama. If you consider the starting area to be in the southwest corner and the drop box to be in the north east corner, then the seam was the equator. You can see that at this point in the roborama 2013a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vLF4vFiY5-I#t=46 I can't tell from the video what the actual dimensions of the panels are. There is a seam that runs between the center of the narrow sides of the platform. The diagram showed a seam running along the longest side of the course. That would make it two pieces 30"x72". Is that right? (Sorry if this has been asked before?) I assume as shown, the diagram indicates moving from the table corner inside the start area to the corner on the side of the table with the drop box is 60 inches moving "across the page" to the right, then "up the page" 72" to be at the corner of the table nearest the drop box. I left the dimensions programmable in my robot, but just wanted to have the default correct and it has been about a year since I have seen the course. Thanks!
