Not sure if I responded previously but I am interested in your findings 
with this device.

I looked at it earlier, and we discussed it on the list a bit, for my 
competition robots. I came close to ordering one but held off because 
the beam width is narrow, as one would expect with a laser, so my rovers 
would need a scanning mechanism. I did not want to purse that complexity 
at the time.
