interest groups dedicated to the development and use of personal
robotics. The DPRG is a 501(c)(3) not for profit educational
organization. DPRG members are interested in autonomous robots,
movie replica robots, vintage robots, robot and kinetic art, as
well as just about anything involving electronics, technology,
or science
Join us for monthly meetings, robot competitions,
weekly hands-on workshops, and field trips. Check the

Latest news:
Join us at All-Con: It's time for All-Con 2010 and the DPRG will have an even bigger presence there than last year. We're doing 4 presentation, hands-on robot demonstrations, and we'll also be showing off small autonomous robots and large movie replica robots. Stop by our table and say hi. Don't forget to ask us about Dallas Maker Space, the latest DPRG project!
The DPRG Needs Space!: In 2009, the DPRG lost our long time warehouse space where we maintained our shared, community workshop. Thanks go to Mike Dodson for seven great years in our Garland home, as well as to Ron Grant and other members who helped renovate the building. Now it's time to find a new home and we need your help. If you know anyone who could donate a building to a 501(c)(3) or who could provide a low-cost or no-cost lease for 1 year or more, please contact us! For the full story on our plans and needs, see Establishing a Dallas Hackerspace
