The Dallas Personal Robotics Group (DPRG), founded in June of 1984, is one of the nation's oldest special interest groups dedicated to the development and use of personal robotics.

In addition to monthly meetings the DPRG holds robot competitions, monthly group workshops, and informal weekly lunch meetings.

10 May 2008 -- IMPORTANT UPDATE! The 2008 DPRG Outdoor Challenge has been moved to a new location! The new location is the south parking lot of the Northway Christian Church, 7202 W. Northway Highway. The Indoor portion of RoboRama 2008.A will still be held at the Science Place as planned. It may be a good idea to check the DPRG mailing list for further last minute updates. RoboRama 2008.A is coming up on May 10. We've got new indoor and outdoor events this year and we're expecting both local and out of town robots to compete.
